ASC worked with a local vendor to reorganize all the wiring & equipment and simplify the system to better suit the desires of the client. The end result is a system that is as breezy as the environment it is in. Simple controls allow the client to watch a movie, cable, or listen to an iPod.

Vineapple cafe opened in the Summer 2011 with the purpose of becoming “Your Living Room away from home” – It has a become a favorite in the neighborhood.

The Spa is set onto a hillside and consists of 8 individual treatment huts connected by wooden walkways extended over the rainforest floor. Originally the owner had envisioned using simple iPod Docks in each treatment hut, but this created a strange audio experience as guests walked through the spa: they could hear different music coming from each hut. They needed a solution that would allow the music to play in synchronization between all the rooms. Additionally, they need a solution that was easy for the spa staff to control and adjust the volume.

ASC found the best solution for this– Sonos, a wireless music system.

This system was deployed January 2011.

The system features a distributed video and audio system that supports cable boxes, bluray players and AppleTV throughout the home and a dedicated 5.1 surround sound system Media Room. It also includes automated lighting control featuring preset lighting ‘scenes’ which control overhead lights, sconces and lamps to provide the perfect lighting balance for every occasion.

This system was completed in Summer 2011.

Originally we were hired to provide playback calibration for critical public showings of the artist’s work. This meant that the video had to calibrated to match the artist’s intended color and contrast values. For this process a meter is used to bring the playback system up-to-spec, and then hand calibration puts the finishing touches on color and contrast values.

ASC has also been involved with the studio on other technology related initiatives; included event advancement, gallery showings and discovery for new media installations.

The next project slated to be begin in 2012 is an immersive environment with 270 degree renderings of high def realistic landscape photos.

ASC has been selected as the official technology consultant for the new Sugar Beach Residences in St Lucia.

This unique luxury real estate development will include investment villas and private homes. ASC redesigns island life by giving residents access to the highest level of interactive and audiovisual technology.

The technology in each villa can be customized at the request of the Owner.

This project is currently under construction and set for completion in 2012.

Additionally, the executives use the large screen display for private, encrypted video conferencing with other corporate branches worldwide. Initially the architect was responsible for finding a solution for the technology requirements but quickly became wary of the infinite choices and vendors available.

ASC was asked to take the client’s initial requirements and expand them into a fully functioning specification document, ready for vendor bidding. After selection of the vendor, ASC managed the project deployment to ensure the project met the original design objectives.

This building will have state-of-the-art technology amenities including advanced intercom systems, elevator systems, surveillance systems, automated lighting and temperature control in each residence along with a comprehensive pre-wiring package.

Our goal at ASC is to provide a turn-key solution for buyers, allowing them to easily upgrade the technology in their home by scaling the base package already provided.
